One (1) Full Time & Two (2) Part Time positions available.

The Painted Turtle Guesthouse is Nanaimo's exclusive Hostelling International accommodation property and was awarded Best Small Hostel in Canada in 2007. As we expand our team, we are on the lookout for exceptional small business team players.

The environment will appeal to self-starters who have the following qualities. You will take pride in being an ambassador for both Nanaimo as a destination and the Painted Turtle Guesthouse as a unique, independent downtown business. You will exemplify the business culture and brand by being enthusiastic, resourceful, innovative, supportive of multi-culturalism, people-centric, and flexible in the workplace. Your attention to detail on operational processes will ensure efficiency of operations and positively impact other team members. An inherent & genuine passion for positively influencing the experience of clients from initial point of contact through to after sales service - including effective trouble shooting when required, will be reflected whenever you are representing the business. The Tundra House Hostel, Churchill Manitoba

Tundra House Hostel is a warm and cozy 6 bedroom property in the small Northern town of Churchill Manitoba. Located on the coast of the Hudson Bay, and only accessible by rail or air, it is a mecca for the adventurous seeking Arctic Wildlife, Northern Lights, and a unique Cultural experience.

Tundra House Hostel is open from December until October. A warm and cozy 6 bedroom property featuring a variety of bunk bed accommodation and private rooms to suit all budgets and needs. The property has shared kitchen and bathrooms and boasts free Wi-Fi, cable TV, laundry, and linens.

Tundra House is close to all restaurants and The Northern grocery store, and just a stones throw from the Tundra Pub. Tundra Pub is open seasonally from June until December and serves warm and hearty 'pub grub' with a Northern twist. Featuring a late night menu, cheap wing nights, excellent vegetarian options, weekly live entertainment, and beer, Tundra Pub is the place to be!

Churchill is world famous for it's Beluga Whales (July/Aug), Polar Bears (starting July until Nov) and Northern Lights (Jan/Feb/Mar). Dog sledding, snow shoeing & nature hikes are also popular. The Hudson Bay 'Beach' is 2 minutes walk away and if you are keen, you can go for a dip when it is not frozen!
